Welcome to the Friday 5! Every Friday I will highlight 5 things I am currently loving. This can be anything from habits that are currently serving me, clothes, apps, people I am currently loving, podcasts, food, mom hacks and everything in between! What I am currently loving: Lululemon Joggers Y’all know I am a sucker for Lululemon’s leggings from my post here, but these joggers might actually be my favorite Lululemon item. They are amazing. Like wearing your pj’s but looking more put together. The material is just right, not too warm or too thin. They have pockets, don’t fade and I get compliments every single time I wear them. …

Welcome to the Friday 5! Every Friday I will highlight 5 things I am currently loving. This can be anything from habits that are currently serving me, clothes, apps, people I am currently loving, podcasts, food, mom hacks and everything in between! What I am currently loving: Revisionist History Podcast Malcom Gladwell is a New York Time’s best-selling author for his books, David and Goliath, Outliers and several more. Matt has read all his books and finds them incredibly interesting. A few years ago, we were stuck in traffic driving home from visiting his family and were bored out of our minds in the car. So, we started just randomly…

Welcome to the Friday 5! Every Friday I will highlight 5 things I am currently loving. This can be anything from habits that are currently serving me, clothes, apps, people I am currently loving, podcasts, food, mom hacks and everything in between! What I am currently loving: Pottery Barn Duffle Bags I ordered these bags several years ago and we just love them. Lilly and Stella’s bags were ordered before I was pregnant with Ruby, so they are at least 3 years old, if not closer to 5 and they still look brand new. They are very lightweight and are much roomer than they appear, I’ve packed for a full…

What I Learned From a 90 Day Workout Challenge
Last year, at the beginning of the stay at home orders in Louisiana my gym, Evolve Studios, did the quickest pivot I have ever seen and immediately had daily live streaming workouts and rapidly built a library of pre-recorded workouts for its’ members to do at home. The first couple of weeks I would try to do “a little something” everyday and sign-on to the live workouts as often as my schedule allowed. On Saturday, March 28th, after a pretty good week of at-home workouts, I decided I would take it easy and not workout. My day was TERRIBLE. The kids drove me crazy, Matt drove me crazy, I had…

Welcome to the Friday 5! Every Friday I will highlight 5 things I am currently loving. This can be anything from habits that are currently serving me, clothes, apps, people I am currently loving, podcasts, food, mom hacks and everything in between! In honor of Mother’s Day, I am handing it over to my friend and chiropractor, Dr. Kristin Smith. Dr. Smith treated me throughout all 3 of my pregnancies and postpartum. She was a guiding light to me as I prepared to become a mom for the first time and continued to support me through my other two pregnancies. As well as all 3 of my girls as infants…

This can be anything from habits that are currently serving me, clothes, apps, people I am currently loving, podcasts, food, mom hacks and everything in between! What I am currently loving: Evolve Studios I am embarrassed that it took me 15 issues in this series to include Evolve, but I just assumed everyone knew how much I love it. Evolve Studios is a fitness studio with locations in Baton Rouge and Mandeville owned by Tayler Landry and Rachel Crockett. They offer a HIIT class called Burn and Evolve Pilates, which is done on the…

The Complete Summer Camp Guide For 2021
If you have been following me for any length of time, I think it is obvious that I am very Type A and live for a schedule. So, while the freedom of summer sounds appealing in theory, it can be very overwhelming for me with nothing on the agenda. I usually try to put together our summer schedule in early spring, so I am not hit with any surprises once school is out. When I asked a few weeks ago about content, a reoccurring question was about summer camps and what to do with your kids this summer. So, I feel like you are really my people. Summer boredom ain’t…

5 Hacks to Stop Hating Your Laundry
I hated laundry. It was literally the bane of my existence. I casually mentioned to Matt that I was thinking about sending out all our laundry. I had seen a handful of ads on Facebook that would pick up your laundry, wash, dry and return it neatly folded in 24 hours. He looked at me like I was insane. What he actually said was, “don’t you think you hire out enough?” Ouch. But, he has a point. I am a stay at home mom that has a part time nanny and a housekeeper that comes every other week. It’s not as if I don’t have time to do the laundry. …

She has a way of connecting with her followers that is just amazing. She shares her day to day life, motherhood journey, style tips, recipes and home décor. Also, she has become a self-admitted “crazy chicken lady” with…

The Friday Five, Issue 5
Welcome to the Friday 5! Every Friday I will highlight 5 things I am currently loving. This can be anything from habits that are currently serving me, clothes, apps, people I am currently loving, podcasts, food, mom hacks and everything in between! What I am currently loving: Fairy Tales Hair Care Products I had been struggling for about a year with the girls’ hair. It was very dry and almost brittle. Lillian’s hair is fine and wavy, Stella’s is thick and straight and nothing I was using seemed to do the trick for either of them. I wanted to stick with something nontoxic and of course tear free, since they…
